- WISH (Wheeling Island Sampler of Heritage) - Madison School Improvement Council - Wheeling Island Venue - A child created, interactive activity book, depicting the heritage of Wheeling Island. Involving kids, parents, and community volunteers.
- W.O.R.M.S. (Warwood Outdoor River Multipurpose Site) - Warwood Middle School - Creation of an outdoor classroom between the bike trail and the Ohio River that will beautify the trail and enhance environmental learning. This was a highly visible project that involved students, parents, teachers, high volunteer match, and business donations.
- Oglebay Institute Heritage Day Camp - Oglebay Institute - - Natural Environment/Physical Settings/Cultural Resources - A two week, children’s camp featuring programs and tours focusing on Wheeling’s heritage, including “Adventures in Wheeling Wilderness” and “Exploring our Appalachian Heritage.” The grant also included funds for 20 scholarships.
- Heritage Art Resource Project (HARP) Brochure - Victorian Wheeling Society - Development of a brochure that outlines the HARP project which presents life in Victorian Wheeling to fourth graders.
- Spanning Time - The Wheeling Suspension Bridge - Black Diamond Girl Scout Council - Elementary school project focused on transportation and the bridge. Included also a patch for participants.
